Continuing education curriculum

Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1: According to the standards of Registered Dietitians of the Chinese Association of Registered Nutritionists, measures for continuing education shall be formulated.
Article 2: Continuing education in these Measures refers to the educational content that must be completed within the prescribed time limit in order to continuously improve the professional level of CICRN (Chinese Registered Nutritionist) holders (hereinafter referred to as "holders"), enhance their professional ability and maintain the validity of certificates.
Article 3: Within the period of validity of the certificate, it is necessary for the holder to complete the general hours of continuing education stipulated in these Measures for re-certification.
The second chapter is the content and form of continuing education.
Fourth: the contents of continuing education can be divided into compulsory courses and elective courses.
Fifth: compulsory courses. Compulsory course refers to the course that the holder must complete the required hours during the validity period of the certificate. The subject of compulsory course is CICRN auxiliary course.
Sixth: elective courses. The elective course refers to the course that the holder chooses to study independently within the validity period of the level certificate according to the subject matter recommended by CICRN China Registered Nutritionist Association. The subject of the elective course is "CICRN Series Certificate Holder Follow-up Education Learning Guide" issued annually.
Seventh: the form of continuing education includes:
1. Continuing education activities of the Chinese Registered Dietitians Association.
2. China's Registered Dietitians Association's professional forums, seminars and academic reports.
3. Relevant content learning and activities organized by the licensee-holder units for professional units approved by the Chinese Registered Nutritionist Association;
4. All kinds of continuing education activities provided by the professional education institutions authorized by the Chinese Registered Dietitians Association.
5. To act as a lecturer or lecturer at a seminar on nutrition training organized by the Chinese Registered Nutritionists Association or its authorized educational institutions;
6, the Chinese Registered Dietitians Association approved other ways.
The third chapter is about the time requirement of continuing education.
Article 8: The first reporting period after obtaining the certificate shall be the validity period of the certificate of certification of certificate holders, and each year thereafter shall be a reporting period.
Article 9: Within each reporting period, the holder shall complete 30 compulsory and optional courses in continuing education. The number of hours exceeded in the last reporting period is not included in the next reporting period.
Tenth: in each reporting period, the holder should complete 10 compulsory courses for continuing education hours.
Article 11: The holder participates in the continuing education in the form of items 1 to 5 of Article 7 of these Measures, which is recognized as one school hour every 60 minutes and not less than six hours of continuing education in each reporting period.
Article 12: The Chinese Association of Registered Nutritionists is responsible for examining, confirming and registering the hours for the holders to participate in continuing education. You can check the status of continuing teaching on the official website.
Article 13: A holder who fails to complete continuing education due to one of the following circumstances may apply in writing for an extension of the reporting period of continuing education:
1. Maternity leave;
2, unable to work normally for more than half a year because of illness.
Article 14: The holder shall keep the educational certificates and relevant materials for at least three years and provide them during the academic examination or spot check of the Chinese Registered Nutritionist Association.
Article 15: It is a violation of the Code of Professional Ethics of Registered Nutritionists to confirm the application when submitting unsubstantiated, erroneous or false continuing education. The Chinese Association of Registered Nutritionists will take appropriate measures against the holders of the above violations in accordance with the Disciplinary Measures for Registered Nutritionists.
Fourth chapter supplementary provisions
Sixteenth: this method is interpreted and amended by the Chinese registered dietitian Association.
Article 17: These Measures shall be implemented from the date of promulgation. The specific implementation plans shall be arranged by the Chinese Registered Nutritionists Association and the Committee on Nutrition and Health Standards as a whole.
